The Microraft can be considered the general model or classic of packrafts. Due to its versatility and agility, it is well-suited for both rapids and flat waters. Despite its light weight, ranging from 3,2 to 3,5 kg including the spray deck, the Microraft has a load capacity of up to 190 kg. This means it can easily carry not only the paddler but also full gear, a dog, or a fatbike. Packrafts are designed to be long-lasting and versatile adventure partners. Your packraft will withstand whitewater rafting as well as varying weather conditions from heat to cold. The Microraft is the perfect companion for hiking, hunting and fishing trips, as well as for the mobile city dweller. It can travel at speeds of around 4-5 kilometers per hour even in still water. In essence, it’s a lightweight, compact, backpack-sized raft that brings a whole new dimension to day trips and long hikes.

Spray deck: The Microraft comes standard with a C-type spray deck attached with a Velcro-zipper combination, which is an invaluable feature especially when moving in flowing water. The spray deck prevents water from rapids from entering the foot area and keeps the paddler somewhat dry in the rain. However, it may not be 100% waterproof (the zipper may let in some water), but it effectively keeps normal splashes and rain out of the boat.

Size recommendations: (paddler’s height in cm): XS-size 130-160 cm, S-size 140-170 cm, M-size 165-180 cm, L-size 175-190 cm. These size recommendations are very general, as suitability varies also based on body structure. When choosing a size, note that the smaller the size, the more agile it is; the larger the size, the more spacious it is. Compare the dimensions and sizes in more detail from our packraft-info page!

MRS Microraft models in sizes S, M, and L come standard with a detachable MRS fin (height approx. 60 mm) + socket.

The MRS Microraft includes an inflation bag, patching material (excluding glue), and a detachable MRS fin (height approx. 60 mm) with a pre-installed socket. The socket also fits a separately sold MRS fin with a height of 130 mm.

The Flextailgear Max Pump is also a very convenient accessory for every packraft owner.

If your packraft happens to need repairs on one of your adventures, we recommend the separately sold packraft repair kit or the Helaplast glue for gluing the patch materials included with the raft.

Note: Your packraft comes with factory-printed Melomo logos. The logos are on both sides of the bow, sized approximately 100 mm x 70 mm.
