Packraft repair kit

Although packrafts are very durable, a well prepared traveler always brings along some repair material.

1. Stormsure Tuff Tape is very strong, clear, self-adhesive, waterproof tape that we sell in a very handy two piece packets.The product has a very similar make-up as Stormsure Adhesive and therefore shares many of the same characteristics such as flexibility and toughness.TUFF Tape is perfect for fast, easy and long-lasting repairs due to being highly multi-purpose, almost impossible to tear, abrasion resistant and comfortable against skin.

Works also for: anything filled with air, waders, weatherproof clothes, car rag roofs, horse warps, backpacks, PVC, leather clothes and upholstery, kites, sail, dry sacks etc…

2. Stormsure is suitable polyurethane glue for packraft patching. Fixing small holes and resolved seams works nifty at home.

If the damage is in an awkward place (e.g. seam), Stormsure glue is best help for it. Clean the surface (with alcohol if possible), dry well and spread liquid Stormsure glue to the damaged part. Spread the glue at least 5 mm over the end of the damaged part. Glue flattens out itself. Stormsure glue dries approximately in 10-12 hours. Stormsure is polyurethane, very flexible and 100% waterproof.

You can also use stormsure for tents, waders and other things made of polyurethane and neoprene. This is not contact glue, so with this you can not glue for example grab loops – for that you need contact glue made for polyurethane. Package contain: 15 g tube clear or black Stormsure glue.

Note: The manufacturer recommends to store opened Stormsure glue in a fridge.
